Manages the logistics and day-to-day functioning of union services. Acts as the internal backbone of the GCSU — ensuring that students who need help on campus are getting it, that office operations run smoothly, and that the union is accessible and functional.

Manages the GCSU's budget, tracks expenditures, coordinates with external auditors, and ensures financial reporting is accurate and timely. Every dollar that moves through the GCSU touches this portfolio. Fiscal discipline here is non-negotiable, particularly during our ongoing financial recovery.

Handles all translation requests, upholds the GCSU's bilingual mandate across all communications and programming, and ensures francophone and bilingual representation on campus. All public-facing GCSU content must pass through this portfolio.

Manages all GCSU social media, public communications, and updates to the general constituency. Responsible for content scheduling, design consistency, the GCSU newsletter, and handling all communications requests from other portfolios. Every piece of content that goes public flows through this portfolio.

Plans and executes GCSU events and social programming throughout the year. Works to create moments that bring the Glendon community together — from casual hangouts to larger campus-wide events. This portfolio is often the most visible face of the GCSU to the broader student body.

Oversees partnerships with and support for all recognized Glendon clubs. Handles club ratification, resource support, and the relationship between the GCSU and the broader club ecosystem. If a club needs something, this portfolio is the first point of contact.

Manages connections with the student caucus, faculty government, and broader academic governance structures at Glendon and York. Advocates for academic rights, represents student academic interests in institutional decision-making, and tracks policy changes that affect Glendon students.

Leads the GCSU's advocacy campaigns and manages our relationship with the Canadian Federation of Students. Coordinates participation in provincial and national student campaigns, mobilizes the student body around shared issues, and ensures Glendon's voice is present in broader student movements.

Plans, coordinates, and delivers both Frosh Week (fall) and Frost Week (winter). Responsible for onboarding new students, running Orientation Leader recruitment, and ensuring Glendon's first and second semester welcome experiences are memorable and inclusive.

Keeps the GCSU on the right side of its own rules. Ensures the organization is following constitutional protocol, meeting its accountability obligations, maintaining proper records, and that council members understand and uphold the bylaws and procedures that govern how we operate.

Responsible for running all GCSU elections and by-elections — from candidate nomination to results announcement. Upholds the integrity of the electoral process, manages the Chief Returning Officer, and ensures elections are transparent and accessible to all students.
