Our mission is to provide a space for those with a passion for aerospace to work on an amazing project: a high-power rocket. We are developing liquid, hybrid, and solid propellant-based vehicles, as well as avionics for communication and control.

Members will have the opportunity to learn about the aerospace industry in a hands-on environment, developing experience with aerodynamics, structural design, composite materials and manufacturing, and electronics design. Additionally, members will receive assistance in developing their own vehicles for CAR rocketry certifications.

The overall mission of ASHRAE is to serve humanity by advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and their allied fields. The main vision is a healthy and sustainable built environment for all.

Student branch members gets priority in learning about events and competitions to participate in.

Students can register for annual ASHRAE memberships at a discounted price compared to professional members. It allows student members to access educational resources and participating in events at a discounted price.

Also, students, especially undergraduates, can apply for ASHRAE scholarships and can improve their chances of earning one based a mix of their academic achievements, career history, and involvement with ASHRAE.

The Civil Engineers of Lassonde is a Student Chapter that is under various Civil Engineering Organizations such as the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers (CSCE), and hopefully the American Concrete Institute (ACI), where our mission is to represent all of the Civil Engineers of Lassonde, by helping students expand their network with different organizations, companies, universities, and develop experience through competitions and projects.

The Civil Engineers of Lassonde strives to have both and educational and social takeaway from all of its events and endeavours, to which students can benefit from join this club. The purpose of this club is for undergraduate engineering students to annually design and build a concrete canoe in order to compete in the Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition (CNCCC). Participation in the club and in CNCCC allows students to use their classroom knowledge and apply it in a practical way. The club provides a space for engineering students of all disciplines to work together, sharing their skills and collaborating in a fun environment.

Members will have access to various channels which provides regular updates with the projects progress. Additionally, members will be given the opportunity to work on the project, and first access to events such as casting day. Members assisting with the project will be provided tools and resources needed to succeed. Finally, active members may be given the opportunity to attend the competition in May.

Mission
We at Lassonde Motorsports aim to compete in Formula SAE series of competitions. It’s an international university engineering design competition with the goal of designing and manufacturing a motorsports vehicle, and then competing with it in a series of dynamic and static events. The club’s mission is to provide students with practical engineering experience by collaboratively designing and building a competitive Formula SAE racecar. In other words, we aim to give members a hands-on, project-based education that goes beyond textbooks, while fostering teamwork and innovation.
