Mission
We at Lassonde Motorsports aim to compete in Formula SAE series of competitions. It’s an international university engineering design competition with the goal of designing and manufacturing a motorsports vehicle, and then competing with it in a series of dynamic and static events. The club’s mission is to provide students with practical engineering experience by collaboratively designing and building a competitive Formula SAE racecar. In other words, we aim to give members a hands-on, project-based education that goes beyond textbooks, while fostering teamwork and innovation.

Membership Benefits
Becoming a member means joining a vibrant engineering community and taking on real project responsibilities. Members commit to attending meetings, contributing their skills (whether in design, fabrication, electronics, or management), and upholding team values. In return, members gain mentorship, teamwork skills, and the pride of seeing their work on a racecar.
