Mission The MENA Law Association (Middle Eastern & North African Law Association) is committed to fostering a supportive and empowering community for students of Middle Eastern and North African descent pursuing legal careers in the future. Our mission is to promote academic and professional excellence, and create opportunities for mentorship and networking. We strive to promote leadership, amplify underrepresented voices, and promote diversity in the field of law through community, education, and shared learning.
Membership Benefits As the MENA Pre-Law Student Association develops, members may gain access to a range of opportunities designed to support their personal, academic, and professional growth, including, but not limited to, Mentorship Connections: there may be opportunities to connect with law students and professionals of MENA descent through structured mentorship initiatives, peer support and informal networking may also be offered. Professional Development Events: the association may organize guest speaker panels, Q&As, and career development sessions with MENA professionals in law. Future programming may include law school visits, mock interviews, and resume reviews. Cultural & Community Engagement: Members may participate in events that celebrate and explore MENA heritage in the context of law, identity, and advocacy. Networking & Collaborations: there may be future opportunities to collaborate with other pre law or cultural student groups on campus. Leadership Development: Students may have the opportunity to take on leadership roles within the association as it grows. Leading initiatives may offer valuable experience for law school applications and beyond.
