The mission of HOME is to testify to our Christian belief, raise awareness of the connection between Chinese characters and biblical history, and explore scientific evidence that supports our faith. We strive to create a welcoming environment for students to discuss matters of faith, share love and care, and grow together spiritually and intellectually.
Members of HOME gain access to a supportive, home-like community where they can explore and discuss the Christian faith in an open and respectful environment. Members can participate in monthly general meetings and weekly organizational gatherings, contribute to club-led events such as Bible presentations and outreach activities, and develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills by running for executive or associate positions. Membership is open to all York University students, faculty, and staff, and is free of charge.
