About Us

The Young Undergraduate Biology Society aims to bring biology to students through fun and interactive events like biology festivals, debates, quizzes, and friendly competitions with professors. We want to create a community where students can socialize, connect with each other, and explore different career paths in biology — including ones many don’t know about. Our goal is to make biology enjoyable, engaging, and supportive, helping students build skills and discover their future.

Members Benefits

As a member of The Young Undergraduate Biology Society, students will be part of a welcoming community that brings students together through fun and interactive events. One highlight is our annual Biology Festival, which includes biology-themed games, trivia, snacks, and the chance to socialize with peers and professors in a relaxed, engaging environment. Members also get unique access to alumni and guest speakers who introduce a wide range of biology-related careers — beyond the common medical and dental paths. These talks help students discover alternative options, understand what skills and experiences are needed, and learn how to prepare through volunteering, academics, and networking. In addition, members benefit from connections with sponsors and access to valuable external resources that support academic and career success.
