Mission
The purpose of the organization is to educate students in HVAC and building sciences and provide them with opportunities to connect with experts within the industry through ASHRAE. The overall mission of ASHRAE is to serve humanity by advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and their allied fields. The main vision is a healthy and sustainable built environment for all.

Membership Benefits
Student branch members gets priority in learning about events and competitions to participate in.

Students can register for annual ASHRAE memberships at a discounted price compared to professional members. It allows student members to access educational resources and participating in events at a discounted price.

Also, students, especially undergraduates, can apply for ASHRAE scholarships and can improve their chances of earning one based a mix of their academic achievements, career history, and involvement with ASHRAE.
